After everything that has happened to NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), it is not surprising that Gibbs has undergone several changes, such as his personal appearance. According to the press release and the promotional video which were both released on Spoiler TV, it cause a little bit of a fuss in the NCIS office, as they have never seen their boss look a little bit more updated.

This was already seen in the premiere episode of the season, but it seems that Gibbs will be sticking with his new modern haircut, and will be wearing more tailored clothes, such as a polo, to work.

However, along with the new appearance comes a whole new different attitude. It is especially highlighted in Gibbs’ interactions with Tony in this upcoming episode.

According to the press release, Gibbs will have the team work with DEA Agent Luis Mitchell (John Gabriel) on a particular cold case of his.

However, tensions begin to build once more between Tony and Gibbs after he discovers that Gibbs has a personal interest in the well-being and career of Mitchell.

This, according to the promotional video, causes Tony to confront Gibbs about it in the elevator. He is seen telling him that he just wants to protect him, especially with what had gone down in Iraq.

However, Gibbs refuses his help, and even snaps at Tony to “get off his back” while at the morgue.

Aside from this, showrunner and executive Gary Glassberg recently sat down with CBS in order to dish out several revelatory teases regarding season thirteen.

Aside from the changes in Gibbs, the NCIS team will be experiencing a lot of new adventures, and several family members, and surprise guests will be popping up in “NCIS.”

According to Glassberg, NCIS Special Agent Timothy “Tim” McGee’s (Sean Murray) girlfriend, Department of Defense’s Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman) will indeed be back for an episode centering on her and McGee.  It has also been learned that the current season will also feature the NCIS agents going undercover, and the first undercover assignment of the season will force McGee and NCIS Probationary Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham) to go undercover as a married couple.

Those who loved the father and son dynamics between Tony and his father, Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. (Robert Wagner) are in luck, as Senior will be back for an interesting episode. Glassberg also teased to expect to see more of Bishop’s family, as well as several surprises that he couldn’t reveal as of yet.
