New Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm Defends Courage Of Ronda Rousey
Holly Holm, the current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion snatched off the title from defending champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 recently. The fight is marked to be a highest profile MMA fight up till now and the title itself is the most prestigious one. Holm, in a recent update last week, spoke on Rousey, courage and octagon. According to Huffington Post, 34-year-old Holm stated that it is a difficult job to be in it and not everyone can get in there. She further mentioned that octagon can be the loneliest place in the world; it is only one person out there and it is you. No ordinary people can get in there just like that, it need courage and hard work.
The 28-year-old Rousey seems to be shattered with the loss, she allegedly refused to face cameras at LAX which gave people to point out the defeat. Holm noted that the former champ is strong enough to rise up the situation and can handle it nicely only if people do not behave ruthless. It is speculated that both Holm and Rousey haven’t spoken to each other since the title fight event.
The Bantamweight Champion revealed that she was keeping a close eye on Rousey during the fight so as to not give her any chance to recover.
Holly Holm is open to match again as soon as her opponent Ronda Rousey is done with her medical suspension period. Holm said she is ready to defend her title anytime they face each other in octagon.
