Nick Cannon Shows He’s Moved on from Mariah Carey with a Big Tattoo

Nick Cannon proves that he’s completely moving on from his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, as he tries to remove all traces of her in his life, including her name tattooed on his back. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

It looks like Nick Cannon wants to show the world just how much he’s moved on from his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Mariah Carey, as he covers her name inked on his back with a massive tattoo.

The “America’s Got Talent” host previously had “MARIAH” inked on his upper back, as a gesture of his love and loyalty for the songstress, Gossip Cop reported. The outlet cited that after their six-year marriage failed, Cannon started to cover her name last fall.

TMZ reported that Cannon spent 30 hours to get his back inked in a Covina, California tattoo parlor. According to multiple reports, Cannon’s new tattoo goes from his nape all the way down to his lower back and features two cherubs.

The cherubs reportedly pay tribute to his 3-year-old twins with Carey, Monroe and Morrocan. The massive back tattoo also features the crucifixion scene, a dove, and a text, which reads, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do…”

Gossip Cop cited that Cannon previously admitted that he was disappointed that his back tattoo project was revealed to the media even before it was done. Cannon said that the new tat was revealed when he was leaving the gym back in October.

The “America’s Got Talent” host denied that he was showing off the tattoo and instead remarked that people would want him to keep his shirt on once his ink gets done.

His tattoo artist, Bobby Serna finally revealed that Cannon was having his final session to complete his project. Pep Williams was able to document the entire process, which will all be revealed on the upcoming issue of “Urban Ink” magazine.

Cannon was also recently spotted bonding with his daughters, Monroe and Moroccan on Friday, March 13.

MailOnline cited that Cannon managed to squeeze in some time for his twins, in between auditions for the upcoming season of “America’s Got Talent.”
