Nick Loeb says, ‘I Should Not Let the Two Lives I have Already Created Sit in a Freezer’
The lawyer of Sofia Vergara said the actress has no desire to have children with her ex- fiancé, Nick Loeb.
This was after Nick Loeb has filed a case to defend and gain control over the frozen embryos of the couple. In a letter to the New York Times op-ed, Loeb wrote,“Shouldn’t a man who is willing to take on all parental responsibilities be similarly entitled to bring his embryos to term even if the woman objects?”
The actor showed opposition to Vergara’s point of view as he said that keeping the embryos frozen indefinitely is equivalent to killing them, reported TIME.
Meanwhile, earlier this month Sofia Vergara already said that she does not have any desire to have children with her ex, Nick Loeb. In a statement released from Vergara’s legal counsel she said that she intends to “leave the embryos frozen indefinitely as she has no desire to have children with her ex, which should be understandable given the circumstances.”
Nick Loeb has been seeking to invalidate a California ruling that requires both parties to give their consent to be able to carry the frozen embryos to term. This is because the mandate does not say anything about what would happen in case a couple separates.
Nick also expressed that he intends to move on with his life and to have a family of his own. We all know that Sofia Vergara has already married Joe Manganiello and that Nick Loeb also seeks to move on with his life. However, the actor said that moving on does not mean that he is living the two lives he has already created. Nick Loeb also added that he will not allow the frozen embryos to sit in the freezer until the end of time.
The frozen embryos sit in a Beverly Hills fertility clinic since 2013 after undergoing vitro fertilization.
