Nicole Kidman To Star In ‘Wonder Woman’ As Amazonian Warrior
“Wonder Woman” flick leaks are arriving more frequently these days which is a good sign for a movie development. The DC Comics is very soon going to have its first female super hero on big screen. In a latest update, it is speculated that Academy Award Winner actress Nicole Kidman will be featuring in an important role in “Wonder Woman.” Read on to find out more interesting revelation on the casting of Nicole Kidman and “Wonder Woman” movie update ahead.
According to Screenrant, the “Star Trek” actor Chris Pine has already been confirmed for the role of Steve Trevor. Shortly after his confirmation, the news of Kidman starring in the role of a high ranking Amazonian warrior went viral. However, there have been no confirmations on the casting of the 48-year-old actress as of now.
It is rumored that Kidman will be starred as Queen Hippolyta herself who is the highest warrior of all. Queen Hippolyta is the biological mother of Wonder Woman, according to the comic version of story. It is said that she formed Wonder Woman out of clay; it is also said that she had affair with god Zeus.
The management of “Wonder Woman” is hinting towards the idea that there will be a story featuring the story of Wonder Womans’ power. If that is the reason, Kidman is most probably going to star as Queen Hippolyta.
If the deal breaks, Nicole Kidman would then starred against Gal Gadot, the Israeli actress who has earlier been a part of “The Fast and the Furious.” “Wonder Woman” is slated for release on June 23, 2017.
