If there’s something that Seth Rogen can do is make everyone laugh with his comic timing. What happens if you put him with a co-star from another movie and get the director of the same movie to direct them? Absolute hilarity. It is being reported that Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are reuniting for the comedy movie “The Night Before.” It will be directed by Jonathan Levine who was their director in the movie “50/50.” Read on.
According to Collider, Rogen and Gordon-Levitt will be joined by “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” star Anthony Mackie for a comic caper based on the holiday season. During the time it was being shot, it was titled “X-Mas”. But since the movie is nearing its release date, producers of the movie Columbia Pictures have changed the title to “The Night Before.” A trailer of the movie will also be released soon.
“The Night Before” revolves around three childhood friends Ethan (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), Isaac (Seth Rogen) and Chris (Anthony Mackie). They will reunite for one last Christmas Eve before finally deciding that they are getting too old for the debauchery-filled tradition.
In order to make this tradition of theirs memorable, they need to find Nutcracka Ball. It is considered as one of the greatest Christmas parties. The movie is said to boast of a lighter content as compared to Rogen and Gordon-Levitt’s previous adventure, which was themed on Cancer. This movie also stars Lizzy Caplan, Jillian Bell, Mindy Kaling and Michael Shannon.
With the official synopsis now released, a red band trailer for the movie was released recently and gives hints at what fans should expect from the movie. Jonathan Levine has co-written the script with Evan Goldberg. A yet another comic caper from the Seth Rogen camp promises to gratify fan’s hunger for entertainment.
