Nikolaj Coster-Waldau of ‘Game of Thrones’ Joins ‘3 Things’
The famous character of HBO’s medieval drama “Game Of Thrones’,” Kingslayer aka Jaime Lannister aka Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is heading towards another project for the big screen titled “3 Things.” The movie will be a thriller in which Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, an actress from his own land will play a role opposite him. Yes, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau who also got appreciated for his acting skills in films like “The Other Woman” and “Oblivion” will be seen portraying a character named Mikael who is an explosives expert. If we talk about other cast members then Jacob Lohmann and Lærke Winther’s are also onboard. In the movie, his character is a prime suspect in a bank robbery who demands three things following a witness protection deal with the police at a hotel. Dahl, a Danish screenwriter cum director is set to helm this project whereas “When Animals Dream” fame Caroline Schlüter Bingestam and “Only God Forgives’” co-producer Jacob Jarek will take care of the film’s producing part.
Coster-Waldau will also look after the project as an executive producer together with “Z for Zachariah” fame Thor Sigurjonsson and “When Animals Dream” fame Ditte Milsted. Jacob Jarek of Copenhagen-based Profile Pictures said, “We at Profile are so thrilled to be producing Jens’ debut feature and couldn’t be more thrilled about having Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen leading the exciting cast,” revealed Variety. Financing section will be taken care by the Danish Film Institute and TV2 Denmark.
Well, it seems that the thriller is really going to thrill the audience with Coster-Waldau and Sørensen as leading cast. If we talk about other projects of Coster-Waldau then he will also be seen in Bold Films’ “Shot Caller,” whereas Sørensen is coming back to star in HBO drama titled “Vinyl.” So, all-in-all, this project is a treat for both the celebrities for their growing career in Hollywood industry.
