We are pretty sure that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron is on board and these two pretty much excites everyone, especially “Baywatch” fans. Now, it’s time to know who the women will be. It turns out that Paramount Pictures already have a short list of possible actresses for the female lead role, as per Deadline, and you are going to love this.

Nina Dobrev, Ashley Benson, Alexandra Daddario, Alexandra Shipp, Bianca Santos, Denyse Tontz and Shelley Henning are being considered for the female lead role. It was kind of surprising that Dobrev and Benson auditioned for the female lead role of “Baywatch” considering that the original movie didn’t make it successfully and these two have popular TV franchises, “The Vampire Diaries” and “Pretty Little Liars.”

However, it also needs to be considered that since Johnson is on-board, he seems to be the lucky charm for movie reboots. Remember how he brought new life into “The Fast and the Furious” franchise? Thanks to Johnson, this “Baywatch” movie reboot may finally be a success.
