Aside from the addition of villains next season, let’s not forget that Regina is still out there looking for a happy ending. It means that she needs to find the author of the book. The second half of the season will follow Regina on her quest to acquire the happy ending that she deserves.

The fact that Emma is helping Regina find the author will make things so much easier and interesting. For sure, by the end of the season we will know who the author is and maybe Regina will finally get her happy ending. Let’s keep our fingers crossed on that notion, shall we?

According to IBTimes, a new character will also be introduced in the second half of Season 4. The character is King Poseidon, Ursula’s father. Poseidon will be played by Ernie Hudson. Since the show will tackle also “The Little Mermaid” storyline, creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis has hinted that JoAnna Garcia Swisher will reprise her role as Ariel.

It was also reported that Eion Bailey will return as Pinnochio role in the upcoming season. It seems that the incorporation of his storyline in the show has something to do with the hunt for the author.
