One Direction Celebrates Fifth Year Anniversary; Directioners Make #5YearsOfOneDirection And #HarryAppreciationDay Trend On Twitter

#5YearsOfOneDirection and #HarryAppreciationDay are trending on Twitter as fans celebrated their favorite band’s fifth year anniversary!

Directioner’s have done it again as they all put the hashtag #5YearsOfOneDirection that symbolizes how successful  One Direction band have gone so far for five years. They are totally ruling the Twitter trends worldwide.


For the One Direction’s fans, it was like yesterday when they witnessed how their favorite band members were rejected by the X-Factor judge’s and then were asked by Simon Cowell to form a boy band, but in reality, it is almost five years since it happened and the memories of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and the former member Zayn Malik working hard to become the biggest and most successful boy band of our generation remain fresh in everybody’s minds.

Happy to see the members are still together after all the issues they’ve gone through, some fans got emotional. They posted different heartwarming messages and photos of the members; fooling around, playing at each other, smiling and waving to their fans, making the “I Love You” hand sign and of course, no one will forget to include Malik. One fan even says that although she only sees four now, her heart still sees it as five.

It has been months since Malik’s departure from the group shocked the loyal fans of the band, reasoning out that he needs to spend more quality time with his loved ones and girlfriend Perry Edwards. Though it broke a lot of hearts, they still did not lose hope that someday, the boy band will be complete and will be performing as a five member boy band once again.

In the hike of the #5YearsOfOneDirection, Styles took to Twitter to express his appreciations to their fans, supporters, crew and loved ones. His messages sent fans to make another hashtag, #HarryAppreciationDay.

Styles looked back to the time when they were still starting as a band and saying that it is impossible to thank anyone enough for all the support they have given to their band over the years.

He added, “To you who support us, in any way, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you. You did this and we thank you for having us. All the love.”

Meanwhile, reports about 1D’s may take a break after their fifth album are all speculations. A publicist for the band has responded to forget the rumors of break as it was not true.
