One Direction Sings ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’ on ‘The X Factor’ Finale
One Direction fans were worried when singer Louis Tomlinson was a no-show at the NRJ awards in France. The 22-year-old reportedly could not make it due to illness. Good thing, Louis was able to recover just in time to perform “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” with bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne on “The X Factor” Finale.
Louis was expected to attend the Cannes, France gala but revealed early on Saturday that he would not be able to make the trip. He took to Twitter to share his dismay with his millions of followers.
Fans were quick to respond with their well wishes for the One Direction singer.
To which he responded,
As reported by OK! earlier, a source from The Sun claimed that the group might have to perform without Louis.
"It's too early to say whether he will recover in time for The X Factor. If Louis is still sick then they will have to do it without him."
His bandmates seemed to still be in high spirits from winning the Best International Duo/Group award as they dropped quick get well soon tweets for Louis.
Good thing, he didn’t quite need it as he was able to get back on his feet just in time to return to “The X Factor” stage. This is the first time that the group first performed “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” on live TV.
Louis’ appearance wasn’t the only surprise that night. Former Spice Girls’ Mel B also recovered just in time to return to the judge’s panel. The singer thanked the nurses and doctors who cared when she was hospitalized on Saturday night.
“I really missed being here but thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took care of me and got me here tonight,” she graciously said.
