“One Direction Stole My Album Campaign,” Accuses Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber has made a comeback to the music industry and what better way to start things off with a controversy. It sure is one of the most effective ways to get noticed. Read on.
The 21-year-old pop sensation opened up his mouth to start criticizing One Direction. He has accused the band of purposefully putting the same date of their album’s release as he had scheduled to release his fourth album, “Purpose.”
According to dailymail.co.uk, Bieber was speaking from a radio station in New Zealand called The Edge. He claims that the boy band from Britain have purposefully sought to reduce the impact of his new album release by releasing their album on the same date.
When Justin was questioned on this matter, this is what he has to say: “They are not doing anything worthwhile, but they are still becoming famous as we are talking about them.” There was resentment in the voice of singer as he was speaking.
Maybe Bieber is feeling threatened by the rise of the One Direction boy band from Britain or he has doubt on his own abilities. Whatever the case may be, the “What Do You Mean?” singer has certainly raised an issue and there are some eyebrows raised too.
According to Guardian, the controversy was further ignited by the supposed beef from the Canadian crooner. Simon Cowell had posted a video last Tuesday on Snapshot and it became very successful. Bieber made a wincing expression before the camera before making a derogatory statement.
Niall Horan of One Direction was quick to reply on this action as he too went on Snapshot to post his own video. He too made a weird kind of face imitating that of Justin. It is possible that Justin is not able to digest the fame and adulation One Direction boy band is getting.
