Orange Is the New Black Recap: We Have Manners. We’re Polite.
It’s the end of the second season of “Orange Is the New Black,” and even though we hate to see them go this season, they definitely made their season 2 finale one of the best ever. Here’s a full recap of Episode 13: “We Have Manners. We’re Polite.”
Two investigators came to Litchfield to investigate on the assault on Red, who survived Vee’s attack. Meanwhile, Vee threatened her group. She instructed them to blame Crazy Eyes. If they don’t, they would be in trouble. The girls weren’t up for the whole idea to take the blame on Crazy Eyes. She may be disturbed, but the girls knew that she didn’t deserve to be put in a maximum-security prison for something that she did not do.
The investigators did interviews, and most of the girls were convinced that Vee was the one behind the assault. However, since they didn’t have any evidence to prove it, they were left speculating. Later on, Vee’s crew gave in and said that the offender was Crazy Eyes.
As for Piper, she was put in solitary confinement for stealing files from Fig’s office, but Caputo was intrigued when Piper explained the content of the files that she stole and why she stole them. He was so happy with this that he canceled Piper’s transfer, and he marched into Fig’s office to tell her what he has done. However, he walked into Fig, crying over her marriage, and ended up being given a sexual favor from Fig in exchange for Caputo’s silence. However, once it’s over, Caputo told her that the warden was already noted, and she’s done for good.
Caputo, as the new leader of the prison, cancelled all the transfers, which saved Ingalls’ hunger strike. This gained him favors from the prisoners, but he may not be able to remain under the spotlight for too long due to a likely scandal.
The girls betrayed Vee after threatening them for the nth time, and when they went looking for her, she’s nowhere to be found, she was able to escape using a tunnel that leads to a garden.
At the hospital, Rosa received some bad news — she only had weeks to live. She shared the news with Morello, and this caused her to take a big risk. When they arrived at prison, Morello told Rosa to take the van while the guard was investigating the prison sirens and to live her remaining days outside of prison. Rosa took the offer and went off.
Rosa saw Vee fidning her way out of the woods, and that was when she decided to run her over. The last we saw of Vee was she was lying on the side of the road and blood was coming out of her nose.
It seems like Litchfied has lost one prisoner but will gain a new one, with Alex who’s about to go to prison.
