“Orphan Black” Season 2 Episode 8 “Variable and Full of Perturbation,” which aired on June 7, 2014, was directed by Ken Girotti and written by Aubrey Nealon. The latest “Orphan Black” episode began with the arrival of a new member of the Clone Club. It was previously teased that someone will arrive at Felix’s doorstep. Who are your guesses? Well, the series continued to be wacked out when Tony the Transclone was introduced! He/She also kissed Felix (Jordan Gavaris) on the lips.

Tony, or Antoinette in his former life, arrived at Felix’s to deliver some news to the already deceased Beth Childs that Sammy was also a Monitor just like Paul (Dylan Bruce). He previously refused to contact with Beth, whose a cop, and worked as a thief with Sammy. Before he left, Tony was also informed about the current clone situation.

Elsewhere, Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) and Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) continued to bargain with DYAD’s second-in-command, Delphine (Evelyn Brochu). She takes Leekie’s (Matt Frewer) former position after he was killed by Donnie in “Knowledge of Causes and Secret Motion of Things.” They had agreed to use Ethan Duncan’s (Andrew Gillies) solution rather that giving up Kira (Sylar Wexler).

Duncan arrived to the institute to meet her adopted daughter and pro-clone, Rachel (Tatiana Maslany). He told her that Sarah and Helena are failures of the program because they could reproduce unlike the other clones. On the other hand, she had released all her anger that she bottled up during her talk with her dad. It was also revealed that Paul was nowhere to give her support.

Also in the DYAD, Cosima (Tatiana Maslany) was now working with Scott when she learned about Delphine’s betrayal. She and Delphine had made up. It was after they learned that Kira’s tooth was only a treatment. Later, Delphine accompanied Ethan Duncan to the labs when Cosima immediately collapsed and coughed out blood.

On the other hand, Alison (Tatiana Maslany) has finally got back on track with her life and relationships. She just went home from post-rehab and found Donnie (Kristian Brunn) in his drunken state. She got angry over it, but later, they had found out about their similarities—being murderers.

Her illness will take a toll on several “Orphan Black” characters including Sarah and Delphine. How did Cosima’s session with her creator, Ethan, went? Did he learn about her cure?

It was also revealed that Sarah became desperate. She will be facing a lot of consequences concerning her loved ones. Is it about Kira or Cosima? When the time came that she has to choose, who would it be?

Elsewhere, the Proletheans will continue on with their plans. Is it their plan about Helena and the Swan Myth? They previously got hand of the artificially inseminated Helena (Tatiana Maslany) after Gracie accompanied her out of the jail in “To Hound Nature in Her Wanderings.”

The episode will also take Alison and Donnie (Kristian Brunn) into a much complicated level of relationship. They previously found about their separate connections with the deaths of Aynsley Norris (Natalie Lisinska) and Dr. Aldous Leekie (Matt Frewer).
