‘Outlander’ Showrunner Ron D. Moore Reveals About Season 3; Will Jaime and Claire Continue Their Adventure?
“Outlander” Season 2 hasn’t been released yet, but some fans are already talking about Season 3. Ron Moore is also thinking along the same lines as he is hoping that his Starz series gets renewed for a third season.
During an interview with BBC Scotland, Moore said, “I’m very hopeful. We’re talking about doing a third season now and I’m pretty sure we’re going to get it.”
An “Outlander” Season 3 doesn’t seem impossible at all! Moore also added that it would be surprising if the network doesn’t renew his series for another season, considering the fact that the show has garnered high ratings worldwide and created a huge fan base for the show as well as Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe who plays the lead roles, Jamie and Claire.
“Outlander” has also boosted Scotland tourism, which is definitely a big deal. Also, a third season doesn’t seem impossible due to the fact that the series is based on Diana Gabaldon’s novel series and her story doesn’t ends there.
Will Jaime and Claire continue their adventure? Or will it be a different story by then? For book readers, you probably know already the fate of Jaime and Claire but don’t forget that the series often stray away from the book, enriching the story with more twists and turns.
In other news, there is still no word yet whether “Outlander” Season 2 has found its Brianna Randall yet, but in our previous report, audition tapes were leaked. The quest for Brianna Randall seems still on and no one has confirmed yet if Maeve Foley is joining the series.
If the showrunner is up for another season, then we clearly don’t see any reason why it won’t get renewed. It is a strong candidate for a season renewal. What do you think? Share your views in the comments below.
