Paris Is Not Alone – ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Pays Tribute At US Premiere
This is the fifth day following the never seen before terrorist attacks that took place in the capital city of France, Paris. Amidst all alacrity when France is declared “at war”; universal support is witnessed largely from the film and television industry.
To quote one such event, the cast of “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” recently paid their homage for victims and survivors of the petrifying attacks. While, many nations lend their helping hands in hours of grief, this is one of the emotional tributes coming up at the red carpet premiere of the movie.
The cast of the film including Jennifer Lawerence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson together with Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson, who were seen coming up with all their support. To back the entire cause, interview sessions at the red carpet were rescinded. This further followed by silent condolences and powerful statements given to brace Paris.
With blue, white and red mementos of the French Flag, people emotionally described their sympathies towards the affected families. The crew members also wore “Mockingjay” ribbons enhanced with the French flag. Elizabeth Banks tweeted, “Our hearts are with you France where we have so many amazing fans”. The motive was felt absolutely loud and crystal after the entire star-cast of the film stood together.
In his statement, CEO Jon Feltheimer exclaimed, “I’d like to note the horrific events that occurred in Paris”. He also introduced director Francis Lawrence and denoted him as a “down to earth and visionary man.”
Other team members of the film were also introduced by Lawrence, including producers Nina Jacobson and Jon Kilik, Peter Craig and Suzanne Collins. To everybody’s surprise, certain scenes of the movie were captured in Paris itself. This is how the film becomes special for all those who have been living in the capital and parts of France.
