‘Penny Dreadful’ Season 3 Ready To Take Off: Series Will Focus On Ethan
The horror drama series “Penny Dreadful” is ready to make a scary comeback to the television. The John Logan show is said to introduce a famous horror figure from literature in its third season. According to Digital Spy, series creator, Logan said that the show already features horror icons Frankenstein played by Harry Treadaway, Dorian Gray starred by Reeve Carney and his own creature character Rory Kinnear.
But now, another entry in the show has been announced after the running of the show successfully for two years. No more details have been revealed about the character as of now. He further added that the audience will enjoy the reminiscence of a new horror character.
Sky Atlantic and Showtime co-production “Penny Dreadful” will return for Season 3 in 2016 with a series of nine episodes.
Both season one and two received positive reviews from critics. The show had a successful run throughout the seasons and was given average ratings. The second season got immensely popular for its depiction of intense drama in the backdrop of blood and violence created by fascinating characters.
The upcoming series is intended to focus on Ethan, and how he became werewolf. It is speculated that the upcoming season will reveal the mystery.
The series went on to grab multiple accolades and awards at a number of events like 62nd MPSE Golden Reel Awards and a few at 2015 BAFTA Television Craft Awards to name a few.
