People Magazine Awards 2014 Winners [WATCH VIDEO]
The winners at thePeople Magazine Awards recipients took home a shimmering statuette in the shape of an exclamation point. The winners were chosen by editors from People and Entertainment Weekly. Read on for further details of the first ever People Magazine Awards.
Nick Cannon hosted the event. The star-studded event included performances from Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, 5 Seconds of Summer and Maroon 5. Celebrity guests include: Jennifer Aniston, Jon Hamm and more. The two-hour special aired live on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, on NBC from the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Kevin Hart took home the first award of the night, Comedy Star of the Year. Lisa Kudrow was honored with Television Performance of the Year for HBO's “The Comeback.” Jon Hamm was honored in the TV actor category, “Mad Men.” He thanked creator Matthew Weiner for being "the only person" who wanted him cast in the show.
Jennifer Aniston took home the actress honor for “Cake.” Michael Keaton took home the actor award for “Birdman.” Jennifer Lopez won the Triple Threat award.
