‘Person Of Interest’ Season 5: Possibility Of Cancellation Or To Get A Summer Premiere Date?
These days, CBS’ television series “Person Of Interest” is confronting uncertainty ahead with a probability of the discontinuation of the show. Continue reading to get more in details.
The television network CBS has already declared the lineup of “Person Of Interest” season 5 for the mid-season but the dedicated viewers and media outlets have observed that the show is not included on the list despite being slated to hit the small screen in 2016.
A report published by Crossmap gives more on the dilemmatic probability of the show’s continuation. It gives two open ends – if “Person Of Interest” season 5 is premiered by March or April 2016 then it will be continued otherwise the show is not happening.
“There’s also the option that maybe it’s being reserved for a summer release, considering that CBS has already cancelled a summer show, the ‘Under the Dome’ and ‘Extant,’” the website reported.
According to Christian Today, the show is probably pushed back to summer 2016. Even some rumors are still there that CBS agreed to move the series to summer 2016. Some rumors are also there that the network made the way for the series to extend it with an objective to give the way to other shows.
However, it requires much evidence for the sanguinity of this rumor. The true reason behind the nonappearance of “Person Of Interest” Season 5 on the spring lineup is still unknown and that’s the cause of the rising of several rumors and speculations.
“Person Of Interest” has also reportedly received low ratings this year. This is another reason for the people to speculate that CBS is cancelling the fifth season.
On the other hand, some reports even suggest that “Person Of Interest” season 5 has cut down its episodes from an average of 22 to 13. However, the media outlets earlier said that the showrunners were treating the series in that way to take it the final point.
