Peter Pan Live Adds a New Cast Member Who Will Play Two Different Roles
“Peter Pan Live” has found a new cast member in Christian Borle (“SMASH”). Borle is set to play two two different roles. Read on to find out more details regarding this new casting on the upcoming musical of NBC.
According to TV Line, Christian Borle will join another musical for NBC after “SMASH.” He will play as a double agent in the series. One of which will be as George Darling, the father of the Darling children. The other one will be the role of a crew member of Hook named Mr. Smee.
Aside from “SMASH” and “Peter Pan Live,” Borle appeared in several Broadway musicals. He played the role Max Detweiler in “The Sound of Music.” He is also not new to the life of a pirate in his Tony Award-winning role as Black Stache in “Peter and the Starcatcher.”
This is a different take on the upcoming adaptation of “Peter Pan.” The original production of the Broadway version only had one actor with two roles. It was Cyril Ritchard, who played the roles of Hook and Mr. Darling. And this time around, “Peter Pan Live” will have another double agent on the musical.
