Phil Collins of ‘Rock And Roll Hall of Fame’ To Write ‘Warts and All’ Autobiography
Legendary singer and sometime drummer, Phil Collins, has declared that he will release his autobiography in October 2016. He admitted to being asked by publishers and fans to write an autobiography time and again and now that he felt the time is right, he is going to go ahead and give his best to writing. He said that he is looking forward to writing about his life warts and all and see what the book feels like when it is completely written.
Phil Collins has been planning to write an autobiography about his life and times for a long time now, but he felt that the time was not right for such a book. But now he is feeling more confident about getting into it and has even picked out a publisher for his book.
According to a report by the Rolling Stone magazine, the publisher chosen for the task is the Penguin division of the Random House Publishing Group, and Collins is finally ready to go on record about his life in music. He says that he is going to chronicle all the highs and lows of living the life of an acclaimed musician. In other words, he is planning to tell his story with all its little details.
The book is bound to dish out the details of Collins’ memorable stint as one of rock’s best known drummers. It will probably also cover his inclusion in the legendary “Rock and Roll Hall.” Also, there is a good chance that his biography will cover personal details about his interactions with the rock super group Genesis, while he was working with them.
Phil Collins is one of the very few artists who has sold over 100 million records both as a solo artist and as a part of a group. This group of artists includes other legends such as Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, and Patti Smith.
