‘Pirates Of The Caribbean 5’ Movie Update: Johnny Depp Appears at Disney D23 Expo, Orland Bloom Returns

The fans of “Pirates of the Caribbean” have reasons to get excited as the fifth installment of the movie, “Dead Men Tell No Tales,” is all set to hit the theaters soon. The fans present at the recent Disney’s D23 Expo 2015 have got the first glimpse of the movie, which is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, with the appearance of Johnny Depp. Read on to know more details.

According to reports, the first good news for the movie’s fans is that Orland Bloom is returning as the charming Will Turner. Notably, Bloom was last appeared in the movie of the franchise in 2007 and was never seen in any of the movie afterwards. His return has surprised many but there were already rumors of his possible come back.

Bloom had also earlier hinted at his possible return, stating that he would be “gnarly,” like Davy Jones of Billy Nighy if he did reprise his role.

He said, “I’m of course Davy Jones now, so I’m down the bottom of the ocean. It might be kind of fun to do something where I’m rumbling round the bottom of the ocean, because I won’t look anything like me. Get all gnarly,”

Meanwhile, the famous shrewd Captain Jack Sparrow surprised the fans at D23 by coming out on stage in the Captain’s character, in a way to tease “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.”

Depp said, “Where are we?” falteringly on the stage. Sean Bailey, president of Walt Disney, replied, “Disneyland.” As usual like his famous character, blinking thoughtfully, Depp responded saying, “Never heard of it.” After that he started throwing out grapes into the crowd.

In addition to Depp and Bloom, other star cast of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” include Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scoderlario and Brenton Thwaites.

The production for “Dead Men Tell No Tales” has already been wrapped, and it is expected to hit the big screen on July 7, 2017.
