‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ : Spoilers, Cast, and More

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” the latest film installment of the box-office hit franchise, is slated to be released in 2017, but people are already whispering plot spoilers and story updates to each other. Read on for more details.

When the first movie in was released in 2003, Disney was looking to bounce back and get back into the game after a spate of losses. The movie not only helped the studio rebound, it spawned a super-profitable series that has broken many box office records since.

The first three “Pirates of the Carribean” movies seemed to be like a trilogy and nobody was expecting a fourth movie in the series. But the production house went ahead and worked out a fourth part that went on to be a big smasher too.

Now, Disney is looking to cash in on the series again. It looks like they have an idea that can generate many such sequels in the future. People are already talking about this movie not being the last in the franchise and the fans can’t seem to get enough of it anyway.

Gospel Herald reported that some sketchy details have been revealed as far as the plot and the cast are concerned. Johnny Depp will obviously be reprising his role as Jack Sparrow; after all who can imagine a POTC movie without him? Orlando Bloom is going to come back to reprise his role as Will Turner.

Meanwhile, the franchise gets a new villain in Captain Salazar. He is on a murderous rampage against pirates of all sorts. Depp’s Sparrow character will obviously play the reluctant hero who saves the day, yet again.

Javier Bardem will play Captain Salazar. He was noticed for his villainous portrayals in “No Country For Old Men” and “Skyfall.” It is rumored that Bardem’s character is going to have some CGI makeup, the kind that Davy jones had in the second and third installments of the movie.

The film is being shot in Queensland. Australia and will be released on July 7, 2017.
