‘Pitch Perfect 2’ Star Rebel Wilson Answers Fake Identity Rumors! Did She Lie About Her Age And ‘Ghetto’ Childhood?
Rebel Wilson said that she is just trying to be herself despite reports written on tabloids that she is faking her identity.
According to Woman’s Day tabloid, the “Pitch Perfect 2” star is faking her identity including her background, name and even her age. When the story started gaining attention from other media outlets, Rebel Wilson took it to Twitter to give her response in the best way possible.
Rebel Wilson posted on the social media outlet saying:
“OMG I’m actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as ‘CC Chalice’ ….thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome x.”
Apart from all the jokes, she clarified that her real name is Fat Patricia X, which is in reference to a line from the movie Pitch Perfect.
The tabloid also reported that Rebel Wilson simply lived a very normal life with an upper-class upbringing. This was contrary to the background we all know about Rebel being raised in the ghetto of Sydney. It is also a contradiction of Rebel spending a year in Zimbabwe.
The source cited by Women’s Day said that Rebel had a clear imagination. The source also said that maybe people had to tell stories to be able to make their way to Hollywood.
The story also cited a yearbook showing a photograph of Rebel Wilson but under the name of Melanie Bownds. It also showed that from that time to present, the “Pitch Perfect” star would be 36 years old instead of her known age of 29 years old.
The insider tip went on saying that Rebel Wilson is not the class clown and that her house is not in any ghetto place. The source added that nobody can reveal her identity better than her mom. However, Rebel told E! News that her mom was unstoppable when it comes to taking pictures which made her reprimand her from attending the premiere of “Pitch Perfect 2.”
