Pixar Short Film ‘Sanjay’s Super Team’ Reveals First Look
“Sanjay’s Super Team” the latest short film of Pixar of a young Indian boy who is bored of religious meditation and has immense love for superheroes. The short animated film is being planned to be attached with the theatrical release of Pixar’s’ upcoming movie in November “The Good Dinosaur”. According to Cinema Blend, his complete diverse film is centred on both adults and kids point of view in respect to a common subject. The director Sanjay Patel has crafted the movie with his own experiences of childhood where he was influenced by the modern in association with the religious Hindu practices and traditions in his family.
The movie “Sanjay’s Super Team” has a strong concept of going back to one’s roots; the idea connects all races, people and ideologies to connect with the imagination of childhood.
It is stated that Sanjay lives in the world of cartoon and comics while his father tried to draw his attention towards their traditional practices. The little boy who loves superheroes imagines Hindu gods as superheroes.
Director Patel remembers the first time he narrated the “Sanjay’s Super Team” in 2012 to Chief Creative Officer of Pixar, John Lasseter, he said that, the CCO welcomed the idea of celebrating the story with a personal touch.
“Sanjay’s Super Team” has a running duration of 7 minutes and is a said debut with the upcoming movie “The Good Dinosaur” on Nov. 25, 2015, at your near theater.
The short film is very promising and wonderfully done by Pixar, it definitely matches up to the standard of the studio.
