‘Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2’: Game Will Feature New Themes and Surprises
When PopCap Games developed a third game in the “Plants Vs. Zombies” series, they definitely did not want to stop right there. “Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare,” the game that released last year already has a second installment planned and more details about “Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2” have been revealed recently.
According to Yibada, the second installment in the game will feature new themes, moves and surprises that were revealed at Gamescom 2015. It is being said that the sequel of the game will again be a third person shooter and will largely remain the same just like its predecessor, however some new additions like 6 new plant and zombie classes, zombie version of Garden ops called “Graveyard Ops” will be included.
In this game, there will also be reportedly 14 new customized character types, which will be accessible to players. Good news is that there are a couple of new improvements in the overall gameplay as well. Unlike before, required online access has been removed, which will allow a full offline version of the game to be played as a solo player or on a split screen. As far as the players are concerned, they will have two options available to them. They can either choose to take the fight to the zombies, which will be possible because of the 24-player Herbal Assault mode. If in case, players choose to defend them, they can play in a four-player zombie co-op to defend Zombie land Zomburbia.
Apart from all of this, a new online venue was also revealed by PopCap, which is being called as the Backyard Battleground. What players can do with this is that they can gather here and choose multiplayer modes and missions. Publisher of the game, EA stated that the game would only be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Whatever the conditions be, this certainly comes as good news for fans of the game who will wait for it to release.
