‘Playing House’ Renewed for Season 2

Finally, we will see the best real and reel friends again! USA Network has just renewed one of their best TV shows. Read on for the full details.

According to E! News, Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham are coming back on television because Playing House” has been renewed for Season 2. We thought it’s never going to happen since it’s been months since the first season wrapped up, and we haven’t got any details since then if it’s going to be renewed or not until now.


“We are over the moon to be back in action for another season of ‘Playing House’ on USA! We owe a huge thanks to the network and Universal Cable Productions for their support and we are excited about our new opportunities with on-demand. But we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for our die-hard fans and their overwhelming love for our show. Every tweet, article, drawing, Facebook post made this next season a reality. The ladies are back!” said St. Clair and Parham in a joint statement.

Moreover, according to USA Network, we will see a different “Playing House” through their new approach. The network will emphasize the on-demand aspect that will let viewers watch the following week’s episode before it airs on the network. This new approach is said to attract more advertisers.

“We are so pleased to bring back this beloved series, with the exceptionally talented comedic duo of Jessica and Lennon. Tapping into the increasing power of On Demand, we have the unique opportunity to reward the incredibly devoted fans of ‘Playing House’ with early access to new content and bring in additional audiences,” he said in a statement.

Moreover, fans can expect “Playing House” Season 2 in the second quarter of 2015.
