‘Power’ Season 3 Update: Likely To Be Aired In 2016 With No Flashback
The popular drama series “Power” has been renewed for its third season even before wrapping the current one. This has been the most watched series ever of Starz channel, as the viewership of the show went up to almost 209% from its previous season, which encouraged the makers of “Power” to initiate its third season. “Power” is all about drug trade around the splendid city of New York. The executive producer of the show, famous rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said in an interview that he has been very passionate about “Power” since its inception and he is completely overwhelmed by the audience response. He thinks the viewers too like the show as much as he does, reported Vine Report.
The showrunner and head writer of “Power,” Courtney Kemp Agboh mentions that she doesn’t believe in flashback or voiceover, hence, there will be no show of James St. Patrick, Tommy and Angela. She believes in the dramatic way like how people really talk and not the flashbacks. She further added that there will be nothing like flashback as long as she is on the show. According to her, even the recurring memories will be the recent one for the characters.
The shooting for “Power” season 3 will start very soon, likely to be this month, in New York and will shot for 10 episodes. However, there has been no formal announcement on the release dates of the show has been made but it is rumored to be aired around June 26, 2016.
