‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Shay Mitchell On Newest Season: ‘A Lot More Fun’

“Pretty Little Liars” ended last season with lots of twist that made viewers wonder what will the next season offer. One of its main stars, Shay Mitchell, drops some clues regarding to what its followers may see soon.

The final episode of PLL last season showed that an unknown character pushes Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer to come back to Rosewood High. This school has a new teacher in the persona of Ali. It is believed that the perpetrator’s name has the capital “A” spelled in it.

In an interview she did with People, it was obvious that Mitchell just simply could not contain her excitement for the series. She will be portraying her role in accordance to her age. The series is set to start five years later. She narrated that the girls will return to Rosewood High. They have with them the memories and experiences they all gained from where they used to be in that 5-year hiatus period.

These could spell more twists and turns as their characters would contribute more for the plot. The article also shared how Mitchell said that  portraying an older age is “so much fun”. She also shared how they shifted from having coffee to taking beers – proof of their more matured characters for “Pretty Little Liars.”

Shay Mitchell further stated, “It makes it a lot more fun to now play closer to our age and also closer to our fans’ age that have grown up with us.”

US Magazine reported that the star revealed the next season feels like a different new show. Avid fans and viewers can catch the 6th season of PLL on January 2016.

Will the identity of “A” finally be revealed? Will the viewers be left hanging on the edge of their sets again for most of the episodes?  What will be the pivotal scenes for the next season of Pretty Little Liars?
