Prince Charles Plans to Turn Buckingham Palace Into A Tourist Spot

Prince Charles is reportedly planning to turn the Buckingham Palace into a tourist spot by the time he takes the seat from Queen Elizabeth. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Prince Charles is rumored to be planning on bringing in some major changes to the British monarchy by the time he takes the throne from Queen Elizabeth.

“One of the ideas that Charles has discussed is for the Royal Family to leave Buckingham Palace entirely, turning it into a kind of grand official centre for events, an art gallery and public use,” a source tells Daily Express, via Celeb Dirty Laundry.

The outlet reported that Prince Charles wants to do this first thing upon gaining the title in order to divert the public’s attention away from Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Is Prince Charles jealous of Prince William and Kate Middleton?

According to the outlet, Prince Charles is jealous of the attention that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are getting and hence he already has plans to evict them from the palace “before they even get a chance to sit upon the throne.”

Although Prince Charles is very proud of Prince William and Harry’s achievements, he feels a bit jealous and frustrated that the public is paying more attention to them and not his works, Catherine Mayer cited in her book, “Born to Be King,” according to Washington Post.

Ouch! Well it’s not like Prince Charles is to blame. After all, the media and the public often go frenzy in even the tiniest of matters such as Kate Middleton’s grey hair or her latest dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge is allegedly being courted by Vogue to cover their infamous September issue. According to some reports, Anna Wintour has been trying to get Middleton for two years, but unfortunately, the Duchess of Cambridge has always declined.

Prince William, on the other hand, is in Japan for his four-day tour to promote relations with Japan and China. He visited a Shanghai high school and later on, he attended the Chinese premiere of “Paddington” on Tuesday, March 3, writes PEOPLE.
