According to Crossmap, one of the questions that fans and viewers of “Prison Break” are continuously asking since the announcement of season 5 that what kind of storyline the showrunner and producer have in their minds, especially with regards to Wentworth Miller’s character Michael Scofield. When Dana Walden, co-Chairman of Fox confirmed Miller’s returning as Michael in “Prison Break” season 5, the main question that came forward was, how will they explain Michael’s death in the finale?
Since the resurrection of Michael is one of the biggest mysteries of “Prison Break,” there are naturally some predictions on the way of their writing the story surrounding his death in earlier season.
One speculation has a logical point that Michael indeed faked his death for the last few years and he did not intentionally come in contact with his family members to show that he is alive. There is another speculation that leads to prison break and great escape as this type of storylines the fans are accustomed.
The fans and media outlets seem to be expert in making new speculations. According to The Christian Post, one interesting speculation says that Michael probably sacrificed himself in the finale, but the voltage was not adequate to kill him after he was electrocuted. In order to explain a huge time jump, the fans concluded it saying that he was not killed but was in coma for the last six years.
