We are glad to inform all the “Prison Break” fanatics that the show will surely be returning for its fifth season. As far as the schedule of its airing is concerned, we can say that it has all the probabilities to premiere this March 2016.
Created by Paul Scheuring, the American TV serial drama “Prison Break” was broadcast on Fox for four seasons from 2005 till 2009. After closing the series in 2009, Fox confirmed that it would be it bringing back for fifth season, UK’s Glamour Magazine reports. The return of much-anticipated series is in honor of Fox’s big anniversary, which is reportedly reviving a lot of other Fox series.
In addition to the return of “Prison Break” season 5, it was earlier confirmed that the fans will be able to see their lovable characters, mainly Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield. The lead actors, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will return in the series to play the roles of two famous brothers, Scofield and Burrows respectively in the 10 episodes series.
According to The Christian Post, there are rumors that Scofield’s wife, Dr. Sara Tancredi will also reprise her role in “Prison Break” season 5. Even a few back, “The Walking Dead” actress, Sarah Wayne Callies told the media that she would not mind reprising her role if the story considers Dr. Tancredi’s presence in the upcoming season. However, we speculate full possibility of her returning because when the previous season ended, she was pregnant. Hence, the fifth season can even include another character, son or daughter of Scofield.
As far as the returning of other characters in “Prison Break” season 5 is concerned, we are still unsure of the actors as there is no official declaration on it. However, a report published by Movie Pilot shows that Robert Knepper’s character Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell has 85 percent chance of returning based on audiences’ likeliness. On the other hand, Scofield’s wife, Dr. Tancredi (Callies) has 90 percent chances of returning, while Fernando Sucre (Amaury Nolasco) and Alexander Mahone (William Fichtner) have 80 and 50 percent respectively.
