NeNe Leakes is not upset about leaving “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In fact, she just confessed to looking forward to being herself again now that she’s left Bravo’s reality show that made her famous. She is going to star in ABC’s ‘To Tell the Truth.’ Read on for details.

NeNe Leakes says she’s looking forward to ‘being herself again’ now that she’s left Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta.’ The reality star called her time and memories with Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ “bittersweet,” People Magazine reported recently. “I’ve been there since the very beginning. When I started, my youngest son was in third grade, now he’s in the 11th!” She told them.

Leakes already has a new gig on ABC and she told Extra that she is confident that it’s going to let fans see a more complete picture of who she is. ‘When you’re on certain shows, they only show certain parts of you, so people don’t always get to see all sides of you,’ she told Extra. ‘I like laughing, and I like being fun. I’m a fun girl. I’m a girly girl and I want people to see that.’

She also told extra that she had no hangups about quitting the reality show that made her a star. She declared that she was at a place in her life where she didn’t care about what people really think at the end of the day. She was resigned to the fact that people are always going to think something if you lead such a public life of celebrity.

The Daily Mail reported that Leakes had decided at the end of her contract with Bravo that she was not going to continue with ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Leakes was delighted to find that the moment she announced it, the producers of ‘To Tell The Truth’ reached out and asked her to come over. ‘To Tell the Truth’ is going to play on ABC. NeNe Leakes is very confident that she’ll be a big draw on the new show.
