The shooting for the eighth season of “The Real Housewives of New York” began with some off-screen drama. Three of the “housewives” have been hustling for more money. They want to get as much money as Bethenny Frankel. Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and LuAnn de Lesseps are all holding out for more money. Rumor has it that Frankel is making over 1 million dollars per season and the other girls want to draw up similar contracts too.

Bethenny Frankel who owns the prestigious Skinnygirl brand is already making over 1 million with the “Real Housewives of New York” series. She was given the prestigious deal when she held out for a bigger deal last season.

The other girls on the show have noticed that their paycheck is much smaller than her paycheck. Sonja Morgan, LuAnn de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer have all joined forces to fight off the discrepancy in pay and are now looking to force the management to pay them more money.

The Bravo management is holding out at the deals too. Sources from Bravo say that if the deals don’t go through, the management will look to replace Lesseps, Singer, and Morgan with some of Frankel’s other friends.

It has been revealed that Frankel has a long list of eligible women who would willingly join the cast if Frankel could get her friend and executive producer Andy Cohen’s ears.

It is unlikely that Lesseps will be scratched for the next season. She will be redecorating her apartment which is something that will be integral to the plot next season. The other girls may not stand a chance, but Lesseps has decided to join their cause and this might push the management to sign the contracts.

Meanwhile, Page Six tried to contact the Bravo group and was given no answer. The fate of the girls, as they stand now, is uncertain.
