REVEALED: Supermodel Who Made It to the Top of Forbes’ List of Highest Paid Models

Earlier this week, Forbes named the world’s highest paid models of 2015. Who made it to the top? Read on for more details.

The highest paid supermodel of 2015 earned an estimated amount of $44 million (before expenses and taxes) from June 2014 to June 2015. It’s none other than Gisele Bundchen! Bundchen topped the list again despite her retirement announcement in April this year. She has been topping the said list for nine years in a row.

Bundchen’s earnings were credited to her modeling campaigns for Chanel, Under Armour, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, and Stuart Weitzman. She also earns from her Hope lingerie line Gisele Bundchen Intimates and the jelly sandal designs that she makes for Brazilian shoemaker Grendene. According to Mail Online, Bundchen “does not get out of bed for less than $120,547 a day.”

The 35-year-old Brazilian beauty out-earned English fashion model Cara Delevingne and Victoria’s Secret Angel Adriana Lima. Delevingne and Lima tied in second rank. Each of them earned $9 million over the same span. American TV personality and fashion model Kendall Jenner just made her debut in this year’s Forbes list. According to US Weekly, the 19-year-old model is the “youngest member of the bunch.”

Other models who made it to the list include Doutzen Kroes ($7.5 million), Natalia Vodianova ($7 million), Miranda Kerr ($5.5 million), Joan Smalls ($5.5 million), Lara Stone ($5 million), Alessandra Ambrosio ($5 million), Candice Swanepoel ($5 million), Karlie Kloss ($5 million), Carolyn Murphy ($4.5 million), Kate Moss ($4.5 million), Liu Wen ($4.5 million), Daria Werbowy ($4.5 million), Kendall Jenner ($4 million), Hilary Rhoda ($3.5 million), Jourdan Dunn ($3.5 million), Kate Upton ($3.5 million), Anja Rubik ($3.5 million), and Edita Vilkeviciute ($3.5 million).

According to Mirror UK, Bundchen was only 13 years old when she was spotted at a Brazilian shopping mall by an Elite model agent. Since then, she modeled for Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Versace, Balenciaga, Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera, and Victoria’s Secret. She made her runway debut in the 1996 New York Fashion Week.

Forbes reported that since 2001, Bundchen has earned about $430 million from modeling. She is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The couple has two children named Benjamin and Vivian. Bundchen is also the Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme.
