Previously on “Revenge” (“Impetus” Season 3 Episode 21), Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) was missing. Emily (Emily VanCamp), Aiden (Barry Sloane) and Nolan (Gabriel Mann) were behind all this. In a scene, we saw Charlotte bound to a chair, hands tied and gagged. She had a newspaper on her lap, with Pascal’s death on the front page. Emily was taking some footage of poor Charlotte. She then sent it to Conrad (Henry Czerny), demanding to confess his crime about setting up her father, an innocent man. Nolan was worried about this, but there was no stopping Emily until she sees Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Conrad convicted.
Conrad would not fall for that. He called his gunman, unaware that Nolan wiretapped him. When he got to the wharf, a box surprised him. It contained a footage of Charlotte being beaten and her ear. Well, that was not entirely true. Charlotte was safe and sound, at least unharmed. Nolan probed on Emily about going back to being Amanda Clarke when everything is over. Truth is, Emily does not know that person anymore.
Victoria was still mourning Pascal’s (Olivier Martinez) demise. She promised that Conrad would pay for what he did. Daniel (Josh Bowman) and Victoria were suspicious that Emily was the home security agent. Meanwhile, Margaux (Karine Vanasse) could not believe that Daniel bought Emily’s accusations that Conrad killed Clarke. Victoria, on the other hand, learned about Charlotte’s abduction through Conrad.
To prove that Conrad framed Clarke, they showed a video to Charlotte. He had taken lives, including Declan. Javier (Henri Esteve) told Jack (Nick Wechsler) that Charlotte was missing. He knew who was behind this. When he found their lair, he was shocked to witness what they were doing to her. Charlotte was in a frenzy. Emily agreed to sedate Charlotte. While on her way, a detective hired by Daniel stopped and detained her. Aiden attacked Daniel in the police station, then Emily was released.
Aiden assured Jack about Charlotte’s safety when their plan worked. Alone in the TV station, Jack could not stand it. He helped Charlotte and took her to the borders of their mansion. Conrad was surprised to find him there. He was close to coming out. Charlotte was mad at him and threatened him of going to the police. Conrad warned her that he would not think twice of killing her if she gets in the line.
What Conrad did not know was that a camera was attached to Charlotte’s jacket, and everything that he had said was broadcast live on TV. Before we know it, the authorities have arrived in their doorstep, taking Conrad. One down and another one left—Victoria.
Meanwhile, Jack told Emily about the shrine built for her father where the letters were traced. The ring he found was indeed from David Clarke.
