‘RHOA’ Star Kenya Moore Writes, Produces, Directs and Acts in Her Own Sitcom

The Real Housewives of Atlanta” (RHOA) and “Celebrity Apprentice” Season 7 star Kenya Moore is one busy bee. Moore announced working on her own biopic comedy series “Life Twirls On.” Read on for further details.

According to RealityTea.com, Moore said last fall 2014 that she is writing, acting, producing and directing her own show. There are no updates yet about the network that is going to distribute it.

Moore, who wore a wedding gown in her photo, announced a casting call for guest extras in her show. She was seeking for people from all genders more than 21 years old to attend her 5-hour long film shoot. She wanted them to wear formal clothes. Sources are curious why Moore has not chosen her best friend and “RHOA” co-star Cynthia Bailey to host a casting through her company The Bailey Agency.

Moore posted a photo on Instagram to welcome the new face Adriyan Rae who is expected to appear on her show. It is not certain if she is going to play Kenya.

Looking good @adriyanrae in #LifeTwirlsOn so proud of u young lady!

“THANK YOU KENYA! So happy to have met you and have you as an amazing person in my corner and ROLE MODEL!!” Rae commented on her photo as posted by RealityTea.com.

Rae’s Instagram photos confirmed her appearance for Moore’s sitcom. She had been working with the former Miss USA for three months. She also shared a photo with Janet Hubert while on set.

In Moore’s interview with Jet magazine, she explained about the long wait for a new project. She said that “RHOA” was distracting her from her daily routine of producing, acting or writing. She promised to focus on her new show.

In the past seasons of “RHOA,” Moore emphasized she had a history in filming. She was open about her passion in pursuing her dream to become a filmmaker.

Moore has not given too much details about “Life Twirls On.” However, she freely gives teasers especially the wedding part of the show. She also confirmed that it is scripted unlike her usual TV series appearances.

Moreover, the half-hour comedy based on Moore’s life. It might focus on her life as a sister to her two siblings, especially when they moved in together to attempt resolving their differences.

“It’s very exciting. I’m getting a lot of positive feedback,” Moore said in an interview with Jet Magazine.
