‘Rich Kids of Beverly Hills’ Star Roxy Sowlaty Admits Being Cut Off From Her Parents Was the Best Thing to Happen to Her
The cast of “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” Season 3 promises that there will be more intense drama, as Brendan Fitzpatrick and Morgan Stewart get engaged and Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff joins the cast. While Roxy Sowlaty has had her fair share of drama in Season 2, Sowlaty admitted that being cut off from her parents was the best thing that happened to her. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
The “#RichKids of Beverly Hills” may seem to have it all. Just like any other normal kid, their parents would also want to keep their children grounded. That’s exactly what happened to Roxy Sowlaty in #RKOBH Season 2, when her parents had to cut her off after spending enormous amounts on her credit card.
Sowlaty seemingly faced a nightmare after realizing that she now had to fend for herself without the support of her parents. Looking back, Sowlaty told Bustle that being cut off from her parents was the best thing that ever happened to her.
“I learned my own strength and potential. I think I was relying on my parents a lot, and not relying on myself, and not wanting to,” Sowlaty confessed.
The Persian beauty also revealed that she considers being cut off as “the best gift” her parents gave her, saying that the deed helped boost her confidence.
Sowlaty also realized in “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” Season 3 that she had been a bully to one of her sister’s best friend in high school, who is now her co-star in the E! reality series – Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff.
Sowlaty told Channel Guide Magazine that she never thought that Hasselhoff had that kind of traumatic experience back in high school. The interior designer said that she had a different memory from Hasselhoff’s and defended herself by saying that she was just being a protective sister.
“It was kind of like a shock to me, and different than my experience of it. It’s been a work in progress, I think,” Sowlaty revealed.
