Rihanna ‘R8’ Album Features Jennifer Lopez New Song Collaboration
News about Rihanna’s upcoming album “R8” surfaces online. The “Diamonds” singer has spoken about an exciting collaboration with Jennifer Lopez that fans should not dare miss.
While the release of “R8” is still uncertain, rumor has it there are several collaborations in the album. Some of the artists include Jennifer Lopez, Sam Smith, Kanye West, Drake and Nicki Minaj.
In a recent interview from MTV, Lopez revealed that she is a “huge Rihanna fan.” The “On the Floor” singer revealed that she loved how Rihanna feels like a “girl’s girl” and that she seemed very sweet. She also gushed about Rihanna’s “edginess” and the way she was able to carry herself.
When asked if she wanted to do a collaboration with Rihanna in “R8” she said that she’s “absolutely” looking forward to it.
And it looks like the feeling of admiration is mutual! Rihanna also gushed about Lopez’ caring nature. She even said that she wanted her to be her mom! Isn’t she a bit too young, RiRi?
“Her voice has that warmth and safeness that my mother’s has. It has that tone. It’s almost like it can hug you,” Rihanna explained in the MTV interview
According to Realty Today, Rihanna wanted to do a duet with the “Selena” star. What’s holding her back then? Rumor has it she’s afraid that she’s not as bootylicious as Lopez.
On the other hand, Lopez and Rihanna recently worked together in the animated film “Home.”
Rihanna’s most recent album called “Unapologetic” which was released back in 2012. It’s surprising that the R&B star has yet to release an album since then. When asked on what fans can expect on “R8”, Rihanna revealed that she wanted to do more “soulful” music. Perhaps we can look forward to several tracks similar to “PS I’m Still Not Over You” in her 2015 album.
