Randy Taraborelli has come up with the book “Becoming Beyonce” where he claimed that a publicist had lied about an affair between Jay Z and Rihanna to drum up press and yes, now the claim has been anchored truthfully. Jonathan Hay has admitted that to rave a sensational tide that may hit a record when he fabricated the relationship status on behalf of Rihanna. According to Hay’s version, they were desperate to launch a hit record at that time. He expressed his wonder about running the assumptions on Rihanna and Jay Z, as he thought people should not be bothered about the spoof, as already seven or eight years ago he had unveiled the truth in the press. Meanwhile, Taborelli claims in his unauthorized biography of Beyonce Knowles that the stunt led to Beyonce and Jay Z splitting in 2005, before getting back together. According to Taraborrelli, Jay Z only had one comment about the rumor. “Dude, she’s a minor,” the rapper reportedly said at the time about Rihanna, who was then 17.

However, Rihanna’s ex publicist, Hay expressed his deepest apology to Beyonce and Rihanna. Jonathan explained it was all a publicity stunt to promote Rihanna’s “Pon de Replay” and also admitted his decision could be considered reckless as it might put Rihanna in danger. Regarding the infamous elevator fight between Jay-Z and his sister-in-law, Solange Knowles at the 2014 Met Gala, Jonathan thought that it wasn’t set up. However, he thought the power couple might have exploited it for their “On The Run” tour that summer. Jonathan said that he regretted what he did to the people affected by the rumors, especially Beyonce and Rihanna.
