Rose Byrne is Good at Comedy and Nobody Seems to Notice It
Rose Byrne known for her roles in the recently released “Spy”, last year’s “Neighbors” and “X-Men: First Class” doesn’t really get credited for the work that she has been doing in Hollywood and other industries. For starters the actress who gets surprising responses when she mentions that she is actually an Australian just tells everyone how talented she really is. In an interview with Ellen Degeneres, she proved just that when she quickly transitioned from her usual Australian accent to an American one mentioning that it is no big deal for her and she is used to it.
According to Yahoo! Movies, who reported the actress’s five remarkable performances highlighted just how equally sophisticated and funny she looked in her recent movie “Spy” where she played the role of Rayna Boyanov, a vamp who holds the answers to a nuclear device. Other than this, her role as the “trying to be hip and cool new mother” in “Neighbors” was also hysterical especially in the introductory scene where she along with co-star Seth Rogen go and confront Zac Efron and his friends about not making too much noise and usually how cool they are about their situation.
In the movie “The Internship” she made her presence felt by playing the role of one of the instructors at Google who in her own nerdy way has an approach towards everything. The way she indulges with Owen Wilson’s character is nothing but amusing. In the movie “Bridesmaids” she plays the perfect and mature version of Regina George and looks so perfect with her looks and no sense of humor at all. But the way she acted out the part converted her from one of the hate-able to probably one of the most adorable character in the movie.
Other movies like “Get him to the Greek” showed how even after having Russell Brand as her co-star she managed to put her performance at par with him thus becoming known as one of the most underrated comic performers in the industry.
