Ruby Rose in Talks to Fill Vacant Position of Paul Walker in ‘Fast 8’
We all wished for the eighth part after the release of “Fast And Furious 7.” The seventh part which was completed with the help of Paul Walker’s brother due to his unfortunate death showed a sensible exit of the great actor. But with his exit, the vacant position needs to be filled with some strong character and it is reported and confirmed that “Orange Is The New Black” star Ruby Rose will be joining the franchise for its eight installment.
Rose confirmed the news by telling that the production team is in talks with her for the upcoming eighth sequel. She also said that the team approached her for the seventh part as well. However, she did not get selected as her looks are similar to the Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber.
“My last audition before Orange was for Fast And Furious 7, but they didn’t want me because one of the main guys said I looked like Justin Bieber,” Rose revealed the star to OK! Magazine.
While giving interview to Access Hollywood, American rapper Ludacris confirmed the news of the making of Furious 8, he said, “We start shooting next year, and it comes out April of 2017 so far.” Even the co-producer of the franchise, Vin Diesel also spoke about the eighth installment and revealed that it will have a New York City based storyline.
It is confirmed that the movie will have Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel reprising their respective roles. Other than the longtime cast members, Jason Statham will also be seen as Deckard Shaw. It was also reported that Eva Mendes, who is currently enjoying motherhood and last seen in the second part, might join the star cast as Monica Fuentes for the upcoming eighth sequel.
Well, all the updates related to the upcoming sequel are putting fans into the state of eagerness as always. And everyone is wishing “Fast 8” to be as awesome as the previous ones though all are going to miss Paul Walker.
