Rumor: ‘Spider-Man’ reboot might get Marvels’ signature title ‘The New Avenger’
The upcoming “Spider-Man” movie may earn a title which will show it’s close tie with Marvel Cinematic Universe. The speculation is running wild on what would be the title of upcoming “Spider-Man” movie. The rumor is in the air that “Spider-Man” reboot might be titled “The New Avenger”. This is to show the continuity of current Marvel movie trend by telling the audience that “Spiderman” reboot is a part of Avenger team.
IGN reports that the title “Spider-Man: The New Avenger” would echo the first “Captain America” subtitle “The First Avenger.” Marvel Cinematics’ President of production Kevin Feige has said in an interview that “Spider-Man” reboot would not have the origin story rather the film would focus on the Spiderman’ high school years. Though the film will be co-produced by Sony but Marvel has higher input to keep the movie in Marvel Cinematic Universe fold.
The rumor surrounding this movie seems ever increasing. The report says there is a rumor that director Drew Goddard who was directing “Sinister Six” movie will write and direct the upcoming “Spider-Man” movie. A possible shortlist of actors for the main character includes Nat Wolf, Asa Butterfield, Timothee Chalamet, Tom Holland, Liam James.
Cinema Blend reports that though it is too early to make any assumptions on the title of the “Spider-Man” reboot yet the name “Spider-Man: The New Avenger” seems to be the most likely option. Few months back a rumor was moving around the new spiderman movie would have co-star Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and Tony Stark.
Amidst lots of speculations one thing is certain that the film is going to hit the theatre in July, 2017. So, whatever might be the title of this new movie, it is certain that our super hero wall-crawler is going to win the audience heart once again.
