Ryan Gosling Talks about Daughter Esmeralda’s Christmas and Commitment to Eva Mendes
As festive season dawns, many of us are looking forward to the festivities coming our way and the same applies to our dear celebrities like Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes who are looking forward to celebrating Christmas with their 14-month-old daughter Esmeralda.
According to Daily Mail, Esmeralda was only a few months old when she celebrated her first Christmas but Gosling now believes that she will start taking it all in now that she has grown up a bit. Calling it exciting, the American actor mentioned that he is looking forward to the festivities and can’t wait to celebrate it with Eva and their daughter.
The “La La Land” star was kind enough to elaborate a bit on his personal life too. Basically when he was asked about what he looks for in a woman, he simply answered that the woman has to be Eva Mendes. Gosling is a firm believer that he is with the woman he is supposed to be with and there’s nothing else that he is looking for. The couple that met during the filming of “Place Beyond the Pines” back in 2011 fell in love after having shot the movie and welcomed their daughter last year in September. Understandably this could be counted as Esmeralda’s first Christmas since she was only a few months old last Christmas.
This wouldn’t be the first festival their daughter has celebrated. She was seen in a Halloween costume with Gosling and Mendes as the family of three won matching skeleton costumes for the day. With his personal life going so well, no wonder Gosling had trouble keeping his happiness to himself as in a recent SNL sketch, he couldn’t control his laughter and giggled away uncontrollably during some skits.
Hello! Magazine added that there’s one thing Ryan Gosling is not really into and that’s his mother’s holiday tunes. The “Notebook” star mentioned that he has heard more than enough of the Hanson Christmas album and is sure that he will have to listen to it this Christmas as well. Ryan will be next seen in “The Big Short,” “The Nice Guys” and “La La Land.”
