Last Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, according to K-Pop Starz, Park made her debut as a variety show host on the JBTC show entitled “Sugarman.”

“Sugarman,| which was originally entitled  “Two Yoo Project: Searching for Sugarman,” features MC’s Sandara Park, lyricist Kim Li Na, comedian Yoo Jae Suk, and music producer Yoo Heo Yeol.

The show will see Yoo Heo Yeol and Yoo Jae Suk compete against each other as the leaders of two separate groups who will attempt to remix hit Korean songs of the past, to make it appeal towards a more modern audience.

However, as some are wondering as to why Park was chosen, the producer of the show, Yoon Hyun Joon, according to Soompi, that he had wanted an actual singer on the show, as they already had an entertainer, lyricist, and a producer on the show.

Yoon went on to explain that he had worked with Park in the past. He brought her on board as he liked her work ethic, and had had a pleasant experience working with her before.

Park, according to another report on Soompi, mentioned that she was really happy and thankful that she was given this opportunity to host a show that is related to her line of work as a musician and a singer and expressed her hopes to one day perform on the show.

According to K-Pop Starz, the 2NE1 member, during last Tuesday’s episode, talked a little bit about herself. She also shared some insight as to being in a K Pop group, and as a member of a girl band.

This, of course, proved to be interesting, as her experiences as part of 2NE1 are very different from the experiences of her co-hosts.
