Sandra Bullock on Sarah Hyland’s Assaulter: ‘Don’t touch my breast!’

“Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland was forced to leave the Qantas event held at the Sydney Harbour in Australia as she was allegedly groped on the chest. The assaulter was identified as Nedal Lakmas.

According to E! News, witnesses said Hyland screamed, “Don’t touch me there!” then the security came to intervene.

Hyland apologized to her fans through Twitter, stating that she was “inappropriately touched”:

“Sorry to all the fans outside the #qantas event that I didn’t get to say hi to but I had to leave due to an inappropriate touch of a fan (sic),” said Hyland on her official Twitter account.

Matt Prokop, Hyland’s beau, expressed his support to Hyland by tweeting, “To the a–hole who assaulted Sarah tonight I hope to God you don’t see next week. All Sarah wanted to do tonight was say hi to the girls who were waiting outside one douche can ruin it for everyone. Goodnight”

Meanwhile, latest reports claimed that Lakmas was also the same attacker who groped the actress Sandra Bullock in a red carpet event in 2013. The video from the Sunday Telegraph showed Bullock at the premiere of “The Heat” in Sydney, Australia.

Though his face was blurred in the footage, Gossip Cop identified Lakmas. As Bullock approached him for a photo op, Lakmas reached for her breast. The actress quickly pulled away.

“Don’t touch my breast!” said Bullock to Lakmas in an E! News report.

Although the star tried not to make a big deal out of the incident, it was seen that she was uncomfortable.

Furthermore, Lakmas’ relative denied the indecent act being accused of his nephew. He insisted that Lakmas was misunderstood. He claimed that his nephew’s actions were triggered by his medical condition, though it was not mentioned elaborately. The relative explained that Lakmas finds joy when in the company of celebrities. In addition, the assaulter was reported to be crying because of the accusations of groping Hyland.

According to, a police spokeperson told the Daily Mail that a man allegedly assaulted a 23-year-old woman indecently near Hickson Road, The Rocks, at about 7.50 p.m. The 29-year-old man was reportedly arrested.
