Scarlett Johansson has apparently been deemed ineligible for a Golden Globe award nomination for her role as the voice of a computer system in the film, “Her”.

Johansson has won rave reviews for her voice over performance in the film in which she becomes the disembodied love interest of a character which is played by Joaquin Phoenix.

No other actor or actress has ever been nominated for an award for voice over performance in the Golden Globes or the Oscars. However, a campaign is being launched in favor of the beautiful actress to be the first to be nominated for the award.

Scarlett has also recently been awarded the best actress prize at the Rome film festival. Fans and supporters wanted her to be considered for the category of best supporting actress.

However, it is the decision of the Hollywood foreign press association to decide the matter and it has told Warner Bros that Scarlett Johansson is not eligible for the Golden Globe award as she is not seen in anywhere on the screen during the film. Winning an award at the Golden Globes can also hint at the possibility of success at the Oscars.

Since Scarlett has a lot of backing up and supporters pushing for her nomination, it might be likely that she might end up with at least some sort of success at the Oscars.
