It’s official! Selena Gomez moves on from Justin Bieber! Her emotional AMAs performance of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” might just be the last time that Gomez would shed tears for her on-and-off beau. Does her budding romance with The 1975 drummer George Daniel helped her get over the "Heartbreaker" singer?

Gomez spoke to Norwegian radio station NRJ yesterday and confirmed that she is indeed single. The former Disney star, however, had nothing but nice words towards her ex-boyfriend.

“I definitely have so much respect and love for him.”

The 22-year-old revealed that recording her latest album had helped her get over Bieber.

“Going in the studio is just very therapeutic. It was my way of having it be a message more to people in general. People everywhere feel this feeling, and they should understand when anybody goes through that,” she adds, as reported by the Daily Mail.

In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Gomez shared that Bieber heard the autobiographical cut of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” and even thought it was “beautiful."

“He thought it was beautiful. I think it was really hard. I think he was a little jealous of the video guy at first. Honestly, music is an expression, and if you will be that voice for these girls, there are some people that feel this. This is universal.”

Gomez might have moved on from Bieber, but she says she’s not ready to get back to dating just yet.

“No.” As for dating app Tinder? “Oh, goodness, no. I don’t even know how to work it to be honest,” she says laughing.

Gomez was recently linked to The 1975’s drummer George Daniel, as the two was reportedly spotted together during one of the band’s concert.

“They are attracted to each other and laugh a lot and have fun whenever they see each other,” a source told Hollywood Life.

The two, however, were still in the early stage of their relationship, unlike her BFF Taylor Swift and Matt Healy.

“Selena and George aren’t as serious as Taylor and Matty, but it could definitely grow into something more,” the insider added.
