‘Sex and the City 3’ Movie or Full Season 7 Comeback on HBO?
What’s better than a “Sex and the City 3” reunion movie, you ask? An entirely new season of “Sex and the City” on HBO, what else?
In an interview on E! News, John Corbett, who plays Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker)’s boyfriend Aiden, says he wanted a follow up to the hit series.
“There’s a lot of story left to tell with those women and if HBO got it together, I’d like to see the show come back for a couple of seasons like The Comeback,” he said on E! News.
Corbett says he could not get enough of SJP, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, adding that they were all “amazing actors.” He thinks the stars could carry the show even until they were in their 60s, roaming the streets of Manhattan.
“There are so many stories to tell even as well age and get older,” he shares.
Rumors of “Sex and the City 3” started when Jennifer Hudson, who also starred in the movie, hinted that talks of a third movie were in the works.
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Kim Cattrall says she’s on board for another “wonderful reunion,” may it be a movie or a TV series. The 58-year-old who played the feisty Samantha admits that they had all been busy with their own projects in the past to stay in touch with one another.
“All four of us are so busy and doing our own projects, having children but when we do get together it feels like no time has passed and we’ve always had that great chemistry,” Cattrall said.
According to Box Office Mojo, “Sex and the City 2” earned more than $95.3 million when it was released in 2010.
