Shailene Woodley Poses Topless for Glamour UK
“Divergent” actress Shailene Woodley poses topless for Glamour UK and says she is comfortable with nudity if work calls for it.
“The Fault in Our Stars” actress Shailene Woodley graces the cover of Glamour UK for its April 2015 issue. Woodley talks about her thoughts on nudity, how she prefers the European attitude when it comes to sex and on not playing “Fifty Shades’” Anastasia Steele.
If Woodley were to do a sex scene, fans can bet that she would go all the way — yes, naked.
“I’m totally comfortable with nudity. I’m not sure it empowers me as an actress or anything, but if I’m going to do a movie with sex scenes, then I’m going to be naked, because I don’t know about you, but I don’t have sex with bras and panties on,” Woodley shared on Glamour, as published on E! News.
Woodley also opened on why she prefers European views when it comes to sexuality. She mentioned that it is no big deal there.
“You go to a topless beach and the dudes aren’t checking out your t*ts, because they’re just boobs,” the “Divergent” star added. She also noted in the U.S., sex is a topic which has never been properly addressed, “yet it’s in our faces more than anything else.”
Meanwhile, taking “Divergent” may mean missing the chance to play Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E. L. James’ “Fifty Shades.” But Woodley seems to be okay with it.
“I wasn’t really interested… I’d already signed on for Divergent anyway. Also, I’d read the book and thought, ‘If somebody really can pull this off and make a movie out of it, they will be the biggest genius,’” Woodley explained.

The next big thing for Woodley is her movie “Insurgent,” which opens in U.S. theaters on March 20, 2015.
